Obituary

Patsy A. Beverman, 89, of Lincoln, passed away November 1, 2015, at St. Clara's Manor, Lincoln.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A graveside service will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, November 7, 2015, at Richmond Grove Cemetery, New Holland with Pastor Charles Olander officiating. Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home in Lincoln has been entrusted with her care.

Patsy was born March 16, 1926, in Lincoln, the daughter of John A. and Mary Ellen (Armstrong) Awe. She married Merlin Dean Beverman on December 24, 1945, in Lincoln. He preceded her in death March 17, 2009.

She was a homemaker and helped her husband farm for many years. She was a lifelong Logan County resident and a member of Zion Lutheran Church, New Holland.

 

Funeral Directors

Surviving are her nephew Robert (Jill) Awe of Lincoln, niece Courtney Awe of Chandler, AZ, nephew Clint (Ashlee) Awe of Lincoln, and her close friend Rosemary Schacht of Lincoln, who always had Patsy's best interest at heart and who Patsy enjoyed spending her past time with.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son Johnny Beverman, her brothers Robert Awe, Chester Awe, and Billy Awe, and her sisters Charlotte Awe, Mary Awe, Christine Wilmert, and Edith Sullivan.

Memorial donations may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, New Holland.
