[November 06, 2015]  CHICAGO -- Derrick Rose and Jimmy Butler outdid the Oklahoma City Thunder's dynamic duo of Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant to lead the Chicago Bulls to a 104-98 win Thursday night at the United Center.

Guards Rose (29 points) and Butler (26 points) combined for 55 of the Bulls' points, with Rose scoring 10 of Chicago's final 12 points to seal the victory late in the fourth quarter.

Durant, a forward, led all scorers with 33 points and Westbrook, a guard, had 20 points and 10 assists for the Thunder (3-3), who have lost three straight games after winning their first three to start the season.

Trailing 90-84 with 6:04 left in the fourth, Westbrook and Durant combined to score six straight points to tie it 90-90, setting up an exciting finish. Oklahoma City pulled even with Chicago three times, but never managed to take a lead down the stretch.

Rose was the biggest reason, burying four jump shots and hitting a pair of free throws in the final 3:35 of the game.

Heat 96, Timberwolves 84

MINNEAPOLIS -- Dwyane Wade scored a game-high 25 points and backcourt mate Goran Dragic added 18 as the Heat won on the road.

Forward Chris Bosh scored 16 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for the Heat (3-2), while third-year center Hassan Whiteside chipped in with 12 points, nine rebounds and four blocks. Whiteside entered the game averaging 3.5 blocks per game, third best in the league.

Wade, who dealt with migraines just two days earlier in Miami's loss to the Atlanta Hawks, singlehandedly went on a 7-0 run to close out the first half. He capped that with a spinning half-court shot at the buzzer to give the Heat a 49-39 lead at intermission.

Hornets 108, Mavericks 94

DALLAS -- Charlotte center Al Jefferson scored a season-high 31 and the Hornets snapped a long losing skid in Dallas.

The Hornets (2-3) had lost their 14 games in Big D, a stretch going back to 1998 and the Mavs' previous home of Reunion Arena.

Jefferson dominated the paint and bullied the Mavericks in his first breakout game of the season. The burly veteran connected on 15 of 18 from the floor and grabbed nine rebounds.

Dallas (2-3) has yet to win in its building this season, dropping its second straight on a current three-game homestand. Guard Deron Williams led the Mavs with 15 points.
