[November 07, 2015]   Nov 6 (The Sports Xchange) - Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota practiced for the third straight day and will start Sunday against the New Orleans Saints.

Titans interim coach Mike Mularkey announced after Friday's practice that Mariota will return although the rookie is officially listed as probable. Mariota missed the last two games with a sprained MCL in his left knee.

Mariota injured his knee in Week 6 on Oct. 18 on an illegal low hit against the Miami Dolphins. The Titans not only lost both of the games without Mariota but did very little offensively.

Zach Mettenberger struggled in Mariota's place, extending the Titans' losing streak to six games. Tennessee lost to the Atlanta Falcons and Houston Texans and managed just 13 points in those two games combined.

Wide receiver Kendall Wright will not play in Sunday's game because of a sprained MCL in his left knee. The Titans also will be without cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson because of a hamstring injury. Cornerback Jason McCourty (groin) is listed as questionable.

The Cleveland Browns, losers of four straight after being smashed by the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday night, have a quarterback dilemma.

Josh McCown did not play in the 31-10 loss in Cincinnati because rib and shoulder injuries he suffered in the previous two games are too severe.

Johnny Manziel started and played well in the first half. He was 11 of 18 for 128 yards in the first half.

But he was just 4 of 15 for 40 yards in the second half and was sacked three times in the fourth quarter.

The domestic violence charges filed last year against Dallas Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy have been expunged.

Hardy originally was suspended for 10 games by the NFL for multiple violations of its personal-conduct policy resulting from an incident with former girlfriend Nicole Holder in the spring of 2014 while he was with the Carolina Panthers.

Hardy was found guilty by a Mecklenburg County (N.C.) judge of assault and making death threats against Holder. However, Hardy appealed the ruling, and the charges against him were dismissed after Holder refused to cooperate with the district attorney's office. Hardy reportedly reached a civil settlement with Holder, which prompted her to not show up for the jury trial.

Hardy filed paperwork in April asking for the charges against him to be expunged after the case was dismissed. His attorney confirmed to the Charlotte Observer that a district judge signed the expungement order this week.

Backup quarterback Geno Smith (non-throwing shoulder) also is listed as probable. Safety Calvin Pryor (ankle) has been ruled out while receiver Brandon Marshall (toe/ankle) is questionable.
