WLB Wolverines win twice on the road

[November 11, 2015]  LINCOLN - The West Lincoln-Broadwell Wolverines Boys Basketball Teams traveled to Bloomington Tuesday night to face the Cyclones of Cornerstone Christian and came home with two wins.

In the 7th grade game, the Wolverines (2-2) held on to win 40-38.

Lucas Konczyk led the scoring for WLB with 19 points, while Patrick McCraith added 6 to go along with 6 assists and 2 steals. Brode Whiteman also scored 6 points while grabbing a team high 8 rebounds, and added 7 steals.

Also scoring for West Lincoln was Scotty Battin (4), Andre McAdams (3), and Daulton Miller (2).

In the nightcap, the 8th grade Wolverines (4-0) used a balanced scoring attack to defeat the host Cyclones 50-35.

Kaden Froebe led the way with 13 points while Kameron Whiteman added 10 with 7 assists, 12 boards and 3 steals. Also getting into the scoring column was, Joe Dalpoas (8), Payton Anderson (6), Dreyden Pozgai (6), Justin Long (5), and Zac Fuller (2).

The Wolverines next travel to Delavan, to face the Panthers on Tuesday, November 17th.

The seventh grade game tips off at 6 p.m.
