Crusaders take a split at Tuesday night game

[November 13, 2015]  LINCOLN - The Carrol Catholic/New Holland-Middletown/Zion Lutheran Crusaders traveled to Delavan Tuesday night for 7th and 8th grade boys basketball.

In the 7th grade contest, the Crusaders came out victorious by a score of 46-14.

CCS/NHM/ZLS was led in scoring by Alex Janssen with 16 points. Also scoring for the Crusaders were: Dylan Singleton with 12, Andrew Graue with 7, Everett Maaks and Nathan Fulscher each with 4, and Trent Koehler with 3.

The win improves the Crusader record to 4-0.

In the 8th grade game, the hosts from Delavan won by a score of 44-34.

Leading the Crusaders in scoring were Dylan Singleton and Jayden Graham with 9 a piece. The rest of the scoring for CCS/NHM/ZLS went Luke Hinch with 8, Alex Janssen and Hunter Harrison each with 3 and Greyson Radamaker with 2.

The 8th grade team is now 2-2.
