MOUNT
PULASKI - Miranda Hilliard, daughter of Jo and Jack Hilliard of
Mount Pulaski, has been named November- Senior-of-the-month at Mount
Pulaski High School.

She was selected for this honor based on the criteria of
scholarship, leadership, service, and character.
Miranda is very involved in activities at MPHS. For the last four
years she has participated in Pep Band, Scholastic Bowl, Drama,
Spanish Club, Marching Band, and Choir Club. She has also been a
member of the Soccer team, Student Council, and Work Camp, each for
one year.
Outside of school Miranda volunteers for the children’s ministry,
youth group at MPCC, and does volunteer work at a nursing home.

Miranda plans on studying business at Illinois State University.
The Senior-of-the-Month program is sponsored by Johnson’s Food
Center and Johnson True Value Hardware. Monthly award winners
receive a $50 award paid to the college they plan to attend. They
are also in the running for the $500 Senior-of-the-Year award
sponsored by Illinois National Bank.
