[November 14, 2015]    Nov 13 (The Sports Xchange) - A day after Dez Bryant's tirade against the media, Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett acknowledged Friday that he talked to the star wide receiver and the rest of the team about conducting themselves like professionals.

"I believe that 100 percent of our guys do things the right way about 98 percent of the time," Garrett said Friday at his news conference.

"It's a great teaching opportunity for us as coaches and a great learning opportunity for Dez and our whole football team and that's what we've tried to do, is use it as an opportunity to get better."

Bryant left the locker room Thursday during the open media access session after a prolonged rant aimed at reporters.

The Pittsburgh Steelers listed quarterback Ben Roethlisberger as questionable for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns.

Roethlisberger sprained his left foot in last Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders and was wearing a walking boot earlier in the week. The Steelers say he was a limited practice participant Friday.

Pittsburgh has been preparing Landry Jones to be the starting quarterback most of the week.

---

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders as he recovers from a concussion.

Bridgewater was knocked out of last Sunday's game against the St. Louis Rams when he received a blow to the head from Lamarcus Joyner.

The Vikings listed him as a full practice participant on Friday and coach Mike Zimmer is confident Bridgewater will be cleared to start.

---

Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch was added to the injury report due to an abdominal injury.

Lynch was listed as questionable for Sunday night's game against the Arizona Cardinals.

Lynch wasn't listed as injured on the team's injury reports earlier this week and was a full practice participant on Thursday.

Rookie Thomas Rawls will start if Lynch can't play. Rawls leads the Seahawks with 376 rushing yards, one more than Lynch.

---

Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte said he suffered a sprained MCL in his right knee during the game against Minnesota on Nov. 1.

Forte missed Chicago's ensuing victory over the San Diego Chargers last Monday night and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the St. Louis Rams.

Receiver Alshon Jeffery, who has three straight 100-yard performances, also is questionable with a groin injury.

---

New York Giants cornerback Prince Amukamara will miss his fifth straight game with a pectoral tear after being ruled out against the New England Patriots on Sunday.

Amukamara practiced on a limited basis this week, wearing a shoulder harness.

Also ruled out for Sunday's game were tight end Larry Donnell, who will miss his second game in a row with a neck injury, linebackers Uani Unga (neck) and J.T. Thomas (ankle), and wide receiver Victor Cruz (knee, calf).

Johnny Manziel took the majority of reps in Friday's practice, but Cleveland Browns coach Mike Pettine won't name the starting quarterback for Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers because of strategic reasons.

Quarterback Josh McCown is listed as questionable after being limited in practice Friday as he recovers from rib injuries. Pettine said earlier in the week that McCown would start if healthy.

Manziel started for an injured McCown last week in a 31-10 Thursday night loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

---

Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Allen Hurns is dealing with a foot injury and was listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Hurns suffered the injury in last Sunday's game against the New York Jets and missed two days of practice this week. He participated in a walkthrough on Friday.

Hurns has caught a touchdown pass in a franchise-record six consecutive games. The second-year pro has 36 receptions for 635 yards and six touchdowns this season.

---

One day after getting picked off to seal a loss to the Buffalo Bills, New York Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick was scheduled to undergo surgery to repair a torn ligament in his left (non-throwing) thumb.

Fitzpatrick expects to play Nov. 22, when the Jets return to action with a road game against the Houston Texans.

---

Houston Texans outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney, who returned to practice this week, is dealing with a lower back injury again.

Texans head coach Bill O'Brien said Friday it is unlikely Clowney will play Monday night against the Cincinnati Bengals.

"He's dealing with a back issue and it's painful, so we've got to give it a little more time," O'Brien said of Clowney. (Editing by Larry Fine) ))
