[November 17, 2015]  LINCOLN - David E. Hexdall, 70, of Lincoln, formerly of Morris, passed away Thursday evening, October 29, 2015 at his home.

Visitation:  10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, November 20, at Fruland Funeral Home

Obituary

David E. Hexdall, 70, of Lincoln, formerly of Morris, passed away Thursday evening, October 29, 2015 at his home.

A memorial service will be held Friday, November 20, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Fruland Funeral Home, 121 W. Jefferson St., in Morris with Pastor Gerald Steele officiating. Inurnment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with military honors provided by the Morris Color Guard. Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Born February 8, 1945 in Morris, he was the son of Elmer and Alice (Granville)Hexdall. He graduated from Morris Community High School with the class of 1963. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force where he served as a medical assistant and his tour of duty took him to Bitburg AB, Germany. For several years he was employed with Brandt Fertilizer Company in Lincoln.

David is survived by his sister, Joyce Hexdall of Peoria; one nephew, Dr. Aaron(Melitta)Hexdall and three great nephews, Desmond, Isaiah and Massimo Hexdall all of Florence, MA; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Paul, Thomas and James Hexdall.

Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
