Mount Pulaski Lady Toppers hit the ground running at season opener

[November 18, 2015]  MOUNT PULASKI - The Lady Toppers began their season with an impressive routing of the host team Riverton Hawks, 51-25.

The Lady Toppers jumped out to an early first quarter lead 20 – 6 with well executed team play and court awareness.

Skylar Hayes led all scorers with 25 points. Breanna Rentmeister chimed in with 14 points, 8 for 11 from the charity stripe.

The Toppers tallied 32 rebounds lead by Rentmeister with 9, Hayes 7 and Bridge 7.

Bridge also had a team high 6 assists with Hayes having 7 steals on the night.
