West Lincoln-Broadwell Wolverines win twice on the road

[November 18, 2015]  LINCOLN - West Lincoln-Broadwell traveled north Tuesday night to face the Delavan Panthers for a pair of junior high boys' basketball games.

The 8th grade (5-0) continued their winning ways with a 62-36 win.

Kaden Froebe led all scorers with 23 points while grabbing 4 steals and handing out 3 assists. Kameron Whiteman added 18 points and grabbed 9 rebounds and 6 steals. Justin Long led the Wolverines with 8 assists while adding 13 points, Dreyden Pozgai also scored 8 in the win.

In the early game, the 7th grade team (3-2) ran their winning streak to 3 games with a 27-23 win.

Patrick McCraith and Lucas Konczyk paced WLB with 10 points each. Scotty Battin (4), Andre McAdams (2), and Brode Whiteman (1) also scored in the victory.

The Wolverines continue to travel with a road contest in Normal on Thursday, with the Wildcats of Metcalf Laboratory. The seventh grade tip is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
