The first arriving company found a one story dwelling with smoke
and fire venting from the roof. Crews made an initial attack with a
1-3.4 inch handline and quickly deployed a second 1-3/4 inch line.
The damage to the residence is estimated at $80,000.
There were no civilian injuries. However, one firefighter was
injured. He was treated at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
The residence was unoccupied at the time of the incident.
The fire is believed to be intentionally set and is still under
