NBA roundup: Warriors stay unbeaten

[November 20, 2015]  LOS ANGELES -- Stephen Curry scored a game-high 40 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, and the Golden State Warriors rallied for a 124-117 over the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday night at Staples Center.

Klay Thompson added 25 points, Harrison Barnes had 21 and Draymond Green chipped in 19 points and nine assists as the Warriors are two wins shy of tying the 1993-94 Houston Rockets and the 1948-49 Washington Capitals for the NBA's best start at 15-0.

Chris Paul, who missed the past two games with a sore groin, led Los Angeles with 35 points and eight assists. Blake Griffin finished with 27 points, six rebounds and five assists for the Clippers, who have lost four in a row to the Warriors.

Heat 116, Kings 109

MIAMI -- Already down DeMarcus Cousins, the Sacramento lost Rudy Gay in the second half at AmericanAirlines Arena, and Miami prevailed.

Chris Bosh led the Heat with 23 points and 11 rebounds while Dwyane Wade was the top scorer with 24 points, five rebounds and six assists.

Rajon Rondo came up a rebound shy of his fifth triple-double in seven nights with the Kings, finishing with one point, nine boards and a season-high 18 assists.

Cavaliers 115, Bucks 100

CLEVELAND -- Little-used backup Anderson Varejao provided a big boost off a wounded bench and Cleveland beat Milwaukee at Quicken Loans Arena.

Varejao scored nine points in 11 minutes, LeBron James scored 27 points, grabbed nine rebounds and passed for six assists while Kevin Love had 22 points and 15 rebounds to end a brief two-game losing streak and keep the Cavaliers unbeaten at home. Matthew Dellavedova set a career high with 13 assists.

Giannis Antetokounmpo scored a career-high 33 points for the Bucks, who trailed by as many as 21 in the first half.
