[November 23, 2015]  LINCOLN - Archer Daniels Midland Company recently donated $600 to Senior Citizens of Logan County, Inc. (The Oasis Senior Center, 2810 Woodlawn Rd., Lincoln). The donation will go toward more program activity tables and chairs.

”We are pleased that Archer Daniels Midland Company has chosen to partner with The Oasis Senior Center. Use of our facility has grown and with additional tables and chairs, being provided by ADM, more seniors will be able to enjoy the Center through their generosity,” said Dom Dalpoas, Executive Director of The Oasis.

The Oasis was founded in 1984 by a group of seniors in the community. It has continued to develop over the years with a current membership of over 1,000. The average age of members is 72 years, but there is no age limit to join.

The Oasis Mission: To provide a place where senior citizens as individual or in groups come together for services and activities which enhance their dignity, support independence and encourage their involvement in and with the community.
