Harvest of Talents offers holiday baking solutions

[November 23, 2015]   LINCOLN - Guests coming over the holidays and no time to bake! Let the Harvest of Talents for World Hunger Ministry come to your rescue. This year the Harvest is offering not one but two solutions to your holiday entertaining dilemma.

Take and bake rolls

Orders are being taken for the signature Cinnamon and Caramel Pecan rolls sold annually for breakfast at the Harvest of Talents for World Hunger. Cinnamon rolls/with icing may be purchased for $3.00 each (individually) and caramel pecan rolls are available in minimum orders of 4 at $14.00. Rolls will be frozen and ready to bake when picked up. (Baking directions are included.) Orders and payment are being received in the office of Lincoln Christian Church until November 29. Pickup date will be Saturday, December 12 from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the green canopy entrance to the youth wing of the church’s Fellowship Center. Christmas cookie walk

Saturday, December 12, also marks the date of the 10th Annual Cookie Walk, sponsored by the Harvest of Talents Ministry. A variety of delicious, freshly baked cookies, will be offered for sale at $6.00 per pound or in lovely plate assortments at $15.00. The Cookie Walk, located in the Family Room of the Fellowship Center from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., will also offer a limited number of quality hand crafted gifts for sale.
