Lady Trojans down Porta 21-8

[November 24, 2015]  LINCOLN - After a convincing 21-4 victory Saturday over the Williamsville BeeBees, the Lincoln Junior High 7th grade Lady Trojans set their sights on their second round matchup versus the Lady Blue Jays of Porta.

An offensively slow start in the first half was eased by closing it out with four points in the last 15 seconds to put the Lady Trojans in front by the score of 9-2.

Lincoln eventually pulled away in the fourth quarter scoring 8 out of their 21 points on their way to winning 21-8.

The Lady Trojans were lead by Dana Williams with 8 points and 9 rebounds. Cadence Presswood cleaned up 16 rebounds to go along with her 4 points. Jasmine Davis added 4 points of her own along with 8 rebounds and 7 steals.

Lincoln advances to play 21-0 St. Agnes in the Regional Championship Wednesday night at Lincoln Junior High School. The game will start at 6:00 p.m.
