"Cash for Cans" in Atlanta starting Saturday
Local business will collect cash for the Logan County Food Pantry; Palms Grill and Country Aire will give a percent of receipts on assigned days

[October 02, 2015]  ATLANTA - The Atlanta United Methodist Church will be doing their annual food drive for the Lincoln-Logan Food Pantry from October 3rd to October 10th. There will be canisters located in many of Atlanta’s businesses for monetary donations.

Please look for “CASH FOR CANS” canisters at the following Atlanta businesses: Casey’s General Store, Atlanta Super Value, Atlanta National Bank, Country Aire Restaurant, Redwing Bowl, Palms Grill Café, Atlanta Public Library, The Corner, 217 Roadhouse and Chubby’s.

On Tuesday, October 6, after 4:00 p.m. the Palms Grill Café in Atlanta will be donating 15 percent of its proceeds to the “CASH FOR CANS” community food drive for the Lincoln-Logan Food Pantry.

This is being done in conjunction with the Atlanta United Methodist Church’s annual food drive.

Please eat at the Palms Grill Café Tuesday, October 6th after 4:00 p.m. to support the “CASH FOR CANS” food drive for the food pantry.

On Wednesday, October 7, the Country Aire Restaurant in will be donating a portion of their proceeds to the Lincoln-Logan Food Pantry in conjunction with the “CASH FOR CANS” community food drive1

Please eat at the Country Aire Restaurant on Wednesday, October 7th to support the “CASH FOR CANS” food drive.
