[October 02, 2015]  LINCOLN - Mildred R. “Millie” (Blake) Stiles, 73, of Montgomery City, MO passed away at 6:00 a.m. October 1, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield, with loving family by her side.

Visitation:  From 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, October 5, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln

Service: 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at the funeral home.

Mildred R. “Millie” (Blake) Stiles, 73, of Montgomery City, MO passed away at 6:00 a.m. October 1, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield, with loving family by her side.

Millie was born July 2, 1942 in Lincoln, the daughter of Everett P. and Gertie Mae (Skelton) Huskins, Sr. who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was one brother, Everett P. Huskins Jr., three sisters: Norma Jean Gallagher, Mary Ellen Lingo, Ruth Ann Huskins and one granddaughter, Misty (Hilgendorf) Johnson.

Millie is survived by her husband, Mike Stiles of Montgomery City, MO; four brothers; Benny Huskins, Sr., Bruce A. Huskins and wife Wilma, and Strawther “Bill” (Nancy) Huskins, all of Lincoln, Robert “Bobby” Huskins and wife Sally of Bloomington; three sisters: Dorothy Mathis, Patricia Robertson and husband Ron, Kay Green and companion Bill Crowell, all of Lincoln; five children: LaDonna Purdue and companion Jack Albert of New Holland, R.D. (Ronnie) Shull and Stacey of Beason, April Davenport and fiancé Pat Spaugh, Waynett Hopp of Lincoln, Cindy Settle and Jody Stewart of Peoria; twelve grandchildren: Nathan Hilgendorf, Eric Davenport, Kayla, Jessica, and Amber Shull, Danyelle Sarver, Zachary Parja, Acey Green, A.J. Settle, Justine Armbrust, Laton and Landen Stewart; thirteen great grandchildren: Skylar Hashman, Tyler Scott, Brooklyn, Lainey, Briley, Alexis and Aubrey Shull, Abby and Eli White, Cole and Remington Sarver, Issac Green and Ava Beck.

Millie retired from the Lincoln Bottle Factory in 1999, having worked there for 31 years. She loved to sew and do all kinds of crafts. Millie had a deep love for all her family and friends. Even during her health battles she would always put other’s needs ahead of her own. Even in death Millie left this message for all of us, “To all my family and friends. This is no time for crying, just think of all the good times we’ve shared throughout the years. This is my party and there is no time for tears, just a big smile from all of you”.

Services for Millie will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln with Rev. Don Deeker officiating. Visitation will be from 4-7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in New Union Cemetery, Lincoln immediately following the service. Memorials may be given to the Helen Ragen Cancer Fund, The St. John United Church of Christ in High Hill, MO, or Faith Assembly of God in Lincoln.

A memorial service will be held at St. John United Church of Christ, High Hill, MO on Sunday, October 11, 2015 immediately following the Sunday Church service.
