[October 03, 2015]  LINCOLN - The Forever Home Pet Cemetery committee invites all pet owners to attend the 2015 Blessing of the Animals.

The event will be held October 10, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on the grounds of the Pet Cemetery and Humane Society of Logan County, 1801 East Lincoln Parkway, in Lincoln. Father Mark Evans, of Trinity Episcopal Church will lead the event.

The pet cemetery, a non-profit subsidiary of the Humane Society of Logan County, was created to provide an ongoing source of income to support the shelter and HSLC programs, and provide a tranquil final resting place for pets as well as people. Visitors are invited to learn more about the Forever Home Pet Cemetery and the Humane Society of Logan County, tour the grounds and shelter, and meet the adoptable pets.

Donations of food for the pet food pantry will also be accepted.

Please bring all pets leashed or crated.
