Churches and organizations invited to safety plan development training

[October 10, 2015]  LINCOLN - On October 13 and 15th, 2015 Logan County Emergency Management will be offering two individual “Safety Plan Summits.” Providing information and documentation to the county’s churches and faith based facilities will be held on the 13th and organizations on the 15th.

The meetings will offer attendees with a safety plan template that has been designed for churches or organizations. Awareness of local/state/national issues that could impact church/organization safety will be discussed along with a network opportunity between churches/organizations, EMA, States Attorney’s Office, and Law Enforcement.

Church worship leaders, administrative personnel and officials are encouraged to attend.

The Summit will be held in the Lincoln Park District Ball Room located at 1400 Railer Way (Formally Primm Rd.) at 7 p.m. on both evenings.
