[October 10, 2015]  NEW HOLLAND - Thomas Dahman, 62, of New Holland, passed away at 10:35 a.m. Friday, October 2, 2015 at the Richard L. Owens Hospice Home, Peoria.

Services have been entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln.

Visitation:  From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday October 6, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Service: 10:00 a.m. Wednesday October 7, at Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln

Services for Tom will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday October 7, 2015 at Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln, with Rev. Mark Thompson officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday October 6, 2015 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. Burial at Bethel Cemetery, rural Emden, will follow the service. Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church or Zion Lutheran School.

Obituary

Thomas R. Dahman, 62, of New Holland, passed away at 10:35 a.m. Friday, October 2, 2015 at the Richard L. Owens Hospice Home, Peoria.

Tom was born on November 26, 1952 in Chicago; son of Dr. Robert P. and Mary Ann Dahman. He was united in marriage to Sheree Hayes on December 31, 1981 in Galena. She survives him.

Also surviving Tom is his son: Dru Dahman of New Holland; three brothers: John Dahman of Collinsville, Steve Dahman of Lincoln, and William Dahman of Knoxville, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Tom was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Lincoln, and was also a member of Riverside Rod and Gun Club. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and had his pilot’s license and enjoyed flying. He was a retired truck driver and worked at Lincoln Developmental Center.

Services for Tom will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday October 7, 2015 at Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln, with Rev. Mark Thompson officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday October 6, 2015 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. Burial at Bethel Cemetery, rural Emden, will follow the service.
