[October 13, 2015]  Halloween FunFest - As the fall season quickly approaches, the Lincoln Park District is gearing up for the annual Halloween FunFest. This event will be held on Thursday, October 29 and will run from 6:30-8:30pm. More information to come.

Fall into Fitness!

Join us for our Open House, Saturday, October 24 10am-2pm. Meet our fitness staff and participate in FREE mini group fitness classes, including our newest classes; WERQ and PiYo. There will be free fitness assessments by our personal trainers, refreshments, kids’ activities, discounts on yearly memberships, prizes and MORE! Nine years of SPINNING

We will be celebrating nine years of SPINNING classes at the Lincoln Park District Fit Zone during the month of October. We will offer various activities centered around these classes. We will offer a special 90 minute Challenge Ride on Sunday, October 25 at 2:00pm. Jacki Pavlik will be the instructor, along with some surprise guests. Sign up at the fitness desk to reserve your bike.

We are thrilled to introduce two new group fitness instructors to our fitness team! Laura Aughenbaugh and Rebecca Romberger. Laura will teach a Theme 30 Cycle Ride. Rebecca will teach Spin, WERQ and PiYo. Visit our web page for a full Group Fitness Schedule. Our scheduled classes are always FREE with your membership. No daily fees!

Kids Painting Classes

The park district is offering painting classes for kids with local artist Jody Phillips. The classes are for kids in 3rd – 8th grade, and are $20/session for a resident, and $25/session for a nonresident. No previous painting experience needed. The classes will be offered 10/17, 11/7, and 11/15. For more information or to sign up, you can call the park district at 217-732-8770 or stop by the front desk.
