LC went 2-0 to take first place in their pool, but fell in
the semi-final match in three close sets.
During pool play, Lincoln defeated St. Louis University
25-21, 25-11, 25-20 and the host school Washington University
25-20, 26-16, 27-25.
In their semi-final match, they faced off against Misouri
S&T. Lincoln took set one 25-22, but S&T was able to even the
match with a 25-19 set two win. Set three was a deciding set to
15 in which Missouri S&T would come out on top 15-11.
Lincoln finished the event in tie for third place.
