John Sutton to address Historical Society on art of Woodcarving

[October 17, 2015]   LINCOLN - Attention all wood carvers! John Sutton of Lincoln will be the speaker at the October 19th meeting of the Logan County Genealogical & Historical Society.

John is known for his years of working with wood and creating some beautiful pieces. He will explain how to 'read' the wood before beginning to whittle away on it.

The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. at the LCGHS Research Center, 114 N Chicago St., Lincoln.

The public is invited to attend.
