Statement from Lincoln Police Chief Paul Adams regarding arrests made at Lincoln College on October 16th

[October 19, 2015]  LINCOLN - On October 16 the following persons were arrested at Lincoln College on charges of mob action, robbery, residential burglary and battery:

Campbell, Cedric L., 18, of Chicago; Ferguson, Jerry J., 18, of Chicago;
Howard, Scott P., 18, of Romeoville; and Thomas, Demetrius B., 20, of Richton Park.

On Monday morning, Police Chief Paul Adams responded to questions about the arrest with the following statement:

At about 7:50 p.m. (October 16th), Lincoln Police Officers were requested by Lincoln College in reference to a battery report. During the investigation of the battery officers learned that the four students attacked another Lincoln College student over an argument. During the altercation, one of the shoes was taken from the victim by force which resulted in the Robbery charge. The victim sustained minor injuries during the incident.
