Guests: Julie Parker; Lisa Conley
Mr. Schaffenacker called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm.
A motion was made by Mr. Bateman, seconded by Mr. Anderson to
approve the minutes from July 8, 2015 as printed. Motion passed.
Old Business:
1. Pea Gravel: Mr. Bateman reported most of the gravel is
inside the fence, but now will require manual labor to spread. Mr.
Reves may have community service workers who could assist with this
task.
2. 2016 Budget: This has been submitted to the
Finance Committee and has been included in the first draft. Salaries
were not increased, as they will be covered when salaries for all
employees are considered. 3. Computer upgrade: Mrs. Parker
expressed concerns about putting a new computer in the office while
the roof is still leaking.
New Business:
1. Roof repair options: Mr. Bateman will send someone to
provide an estimate for repairs. 2. Logan County Animal Rescue
Veterinary Reimbursement: Mr. Schaffenacker reported he had
received an e-mail from Kelly Cale regarding this request. Mrs.
Parker indicated she has always done this in the past and it would
not be a concern to reimburse minor vet bills (for shots, etc), but
it must be reasonable and not a $300 bill for a spay or neuter. An
invoice for reimbursement is required.

they have been working on the gravel and aluminum cans. She is
concerned about the vents and ceiling. She is concerned there

heat. Mrs. Schumacher recommended this committee hold its
September meeting at the Animal Control facility. Nothing
further to report.
Budget: No concerns at this time.
Public Comments: none.
A motion was made by Mr. Hepler, seconded by Mr. Anderson to pay
the bills as presented for payment. Motion passed.
A motion was made by Mr. Hepler, seconded by Mr. Anderson, to
