[October 30, 2015]  LINCOLN - Building and Grounds Committee Meeting Logan County Safety Complex, August 4, 2015

Present: Kevin Bateman; Bob Farmer; Gene Rohlfs; Chuck Ruben
Absent: David Hepler; David Blankenship
Guests: Tracy Bergin

Mr. Bateman called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.

A motion was made by Mr. Farmer, seconded by Mr. Rohlfs, to approve the minutes from the July 7, 2015 meeting. Motion passed.

Old Business:

1. Office Renovation- Kim Turner’s Office: The committee is waiting on floor plans and contractor bids. She will come forward when bids are available.

2. Military Veteran’s Information Center: Nothing to report.

3. Floor Plan/Furniture at the Assessor’s Office: Mr. Ruben reported most of the Economic Development office furniture has been moved in.

4. Part Time Summer Help/Full-Time Maintenance: This will be kept on the agenda, but no action for now.

5. Electricity work in band shelter at Latham Park: Mr. Bateman will confirm whether this work is completed.

New Business:

1. Ptac Unit in Sally Turner’s Office: One unit has been installed. The second one will be installed soon, since the air conditioner quit working. Mr. Goff has agreed to keep one extra unit in stock to avoid the eight week wait before installation.

2. Monitor to Show Warrants- Lincoln/Logan Crime Stoppers: The monitor has not yet been installed.

3. Animal Control Roof: Mr. Bateman would like to go out for bids for repairs to the roof at Animal Control. Mr. Ruben suggested he call Morton Buildings to discuss options.

Requests:

Woofstock – Latham Park – September 19 – A motion was made by Mr. Ruben, seconded by Mr. Rohlfs, to approve this request. Motion passed.

Report from Dennis Reves: Nothing to report.

Budget Matters: Nothing to report.

Communications: Nothing to report.

A motion was made by Mr. Farmer, seconded by Mr. Ruben, to approve the bills. Motion passed.

A motion was made by Mr. Rohlfs, seconded by Mr. Farmer, to adjourn the meeting. Motion passed. Meeting ended at 7:26 pm.
