[September 09, 2015]  LINCOLN - Airport and Farm Meeting - Blue Room, Logan County Safety Complex May 4, 2015

Present: Gene Rohlfs; Rick Aylesworth; David Blankenship; Bob Farmer; Chuck Ruben; Scott Schaffenacker
Absent: Dave Hepler
Guests: Sam Evans

Mr. Rohlfs called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.

A motion was made by Mr. Aylesworth, seconded by Mr. Farmer, to approve the minutes from the April 6, 2015 meeting as printed. Motion passed.

Old Business:

Tree Project (AAA-4215):
Mr. Rohlfs reported this projected is complete.

Fuel Farm Project (AAA-4317) update: Nothing to report.

Pavement Marking and Maintenance (AAA-4438) Update: Nothing to report.

Ditch along Hall’s Property-Cleaning Update: Mr. Rohlfs reported this project is almost complete. The seeding along Hall’s property still needs to be done. Dennis Ramlow will seed the ditch with his 4-wheeler. Mr. Ramlow will charge the county around $100.00 for his labor.

Farm Timber Property: Mr. Ruben asked Sally Turner’s office to pull the last couple of years of small acres sale. Mr. Rohlfs asked if there is lime stone at the property. Mr. Ruben does not think so.

New Business:

Hangar Door Repair: Mr. Rohlfs reviewed a proposal from Trask Door Systems. A motion was made by Mr. Ruben, seconded by Mr. Aylesworth, to have Trask Door System install four doors at $1,500 per door. Total cost of $6,000.00 Motion passed.

Heritage in Flight’s Request for a Donation: A motion was made by Mr. Ruben, seconded by Mr. Farmer, to give Heritage in Flight a donation of $600.00. Motion passed.

Airport Report: Mr. Ruben would like Highway Department to fix a couple signs at the airport. Mr. Ruben would also like to pull two bushes at the airport, since they are blocking the sign. Mr. Rohlfs will look at the bushes. Mr. Evans had nothing to report. Mr. Aukamp showed up to the meeting. Mr. Ruben asked Mr. Aukamp about making a sign similar to the one the Highway Department made for Animal Control. Mr. Aukamp will get Mr. Rohlfs a price.

HIF Report: Nothing to report.

Farm Report: Mr. Ramlow told Mr. Rohlfs the tile holes are getting dangerous. Mr. Rohlfs told Mr. Ramlow to get a hold of Ingram to get it fixed.

Budget Review: No concerns at this time

A motion was made by Mr. Schaffenacker, seconded by Mr. Aylesworth, to approve the bills as presented for payment. Motion passed.

A motion was made by Mr. Blankenship, seconded by Mr. Farmer, to adjourn. Motion passed. Meeting ended at 7:34 pm.
