Mr. Schaffenacker called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm.
A motion was made by Mr. Bateman, seconded by Mr. Hepler, to approve
the minutes from May 13, 2015 as printed. Motion passed.
Administrator/Warden’s report: Mrs. Parker reported her MITEL
phone is still not working. Mrs. Parker reported someone broke the
glass on the doors coming into Animal Control. Mrs. Parker reported
Mrs. Whiteman is going on vacation the week of 4th of July. Mrs.
Parker will have extra hours in July and August when she takes
vacation. Mrs. Parker asked if she can close Animal Control on 4th
of July since it’s on a Saturday. A motion was made by Mr. Hepler
seconded by Mrs. Davenport, to close Animal Control on July 3rd and
4th this year. Because this item was not on the agenda the committee
could not officially vote on this item. Nothing further to report.
Old Business:
2015-2016 Contracts: Mr. Schaffenacker reported we have received
4 contracts back and waiting on 6 that need to be returned.
Pea Gravel Project: Mr. Schaffenacker thanked Mrs. Parker for
mowing. Mr. Bateman will try to work on the pea gravel project this
weekend. Mrs. Parker will have more gravel delivered by Friday.
Lincoln City Ordinance Enforcement: Mr. Schaffenacker
reported he talked to Clay Johnson regarding the recent ordinance
that was passed prohibiting people to feed stray animals. Mr.
Johnson explained the steps to punishing people for feeding the
animals.

New Business:
Adjust Insurance Budget for Full-Time Employees: Mr.
Schaffenacker reported the budget is only budgeting for one full
time employee for insurance when there are two people taking the
insurance. Mr. Bateman suggested moving $3,000 from Gas and Oil
(601-00-55014) and move it to Group Insurance (601-00-52001). A
motion was made by Mrs. Schumacher, seconded by Mr. Bateman, to
ask for a budget amendment in the amount of $7,000. Motion
passed.
Deposit Amount for Cat Traps: Mr. Schaffenacher reported
Animal Control currently charges $25.00 for deposit on cat
traps. A motion was made by Mr. Bateman, seconded by Mr. Hepler,
to leave the charges at $25.00, but only accept cash. Motion
passed.
Animal Control Website: Mrs. Schumacher reported she is
currently updating the website for the County. Animal Control
currently does not have a link on the website.
Budget: No concerns at this time.
Public Comments: None
A motion was made by Mr. Hepler, seconded by Mrs. Schumacher, to
pay the bills as presented for payment. Motion passed.
A motion was made by Mr. Anderson, seconded by Mr. Hepler, to
adjourn the meeting. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 7:20
pm.
