Middletown Firemen’s Fall Festival scheduled for September 25 and 26

[September 12, 2015]  MIDDLETOWN - On September 25 and 26, the Middletown Fire Department will host a fall festival. Events are scheduled to being at 4 p.m. on Friday the 25th and run from 7 a.m. to after 8 p.m. on Saturday.

On Friday, the United Methodist Church will host a community dinner. At 4 p.m. carnival rides, food stands, and other vendors will be open in the Middletown Park. The Stagecoach Inn will also open at 4 p.m.

At 5:30 p.m. on Friday there will be a special service honoring all Veterans. At 6 p.m. musical entertainment will be provided by DJ Josh Hoffert.

The 5K Glow run will start at 8 p.m. The Glow run will be a chip timed event with Age Group awards at the end. The start and finish lines will be in the Middletown Park.

Saturday morning at 7 a.m. there will be a Sausage and Biscuit Breakfast. Carnival rides, food and vendor booths will open at 10 a.m.

At 11:30 a.m. there will be a Firemen’s Water Fight, and Kid’s Games. The Stage Coach Inn will also be open at 11:30 a.m.

At 2 p.m. there will be a bags tournament.

The Presbyterian Church will host a dinner on Saturday evening, and at 5:30 p.m. there will be a second event honoring all Veterans. The festival will wrap up with a concert by Jacked up and the Empty Bottles beginning at 8 p.m.
