Logan County EMA Meeting
Present: Rick Aylesworth; Robert Farmer; Dave Blankenship; Gene
Rohlfs; Scott Schaffenacker; Emily Davenport

Mr. Aylesworth called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.
A motion was made by Mr. Blankenship, seconded by Mr. Farmer, to
approve the minutes from May 7, 2015 as printed. Motion passed.
Mr. Storer presented the May, 2015 call report.
Air Conditioner - Server Room: Mr. Storer reported they are still
waiting on installation . July-Budget Review: Mr. Storer will report
in July .
Old Business: None
New Business:
Elkhart Weather Tower was hit by lighting. Mr. Storer is
waiting on parts from California.
Mr. Storer reported a concern regarding the payment for copier
expense. Mr. Storer will talk to Mrs. Dugan to fix the problem.
A motion was made by Mr. Rohlfs, seconded by Mr. Blankenship, to pay
the bills as presented for payment. Motion passed.
A motion was made by Mrs. Davenport, seconded by Mr. Schaffenacker,
to adjourn the meeting. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 7:08 pm.
Logan County Coroner Meeting
Present: Rick Aylesworth ; Bob Farmer; Gene Rohlfs; David
Blankenship; Emily Davenport; Scott Schaffenacker
Guests: Bob Thomas
Mr. Aylesworth called the meeting to order at 7:09 pm.
A motion was made by Mr. Rohlfs, seconded by Mrs. Davenport, to
approve the minutes from May 7, 2015 as printed. Motion passed.
A motion was made by Mrs. Davenport, seconded by Mr. Farmer, to
approve the bills as presented for payment. Motion passed.
Old Business:
Mr. Thomas presented the May call report. There were 21 deaths, with
1 requiring an autopsy . There were 3 transports .
New Business:
Mr. Thomas reported Doug Brooks has decided to stay on as a Deputy
Coroner. Rob Cummings has resigned as a deputy coroner.
Mr. Thomas presented the summary of expenses.
A motion was made by Mr. Rohlfs, seconded by Mr. Farmer, to adjourn
the meeting. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 7:14 pm.
Logan County Ambulance Meeting

Mr. Aylesworth called the meeting to order at 7:15 pm.

A motion was made by Mrs. Davenport, seconded by Mr. Rohlfs, to
approve the minutes from May 7, 2015 as printed . motion passed.
Mr. Siltman presented the May 2015 call report. There were 388 calls
in May. The volume for the year is 2,295. Quarterly Budget Report -
Mr. Siltman will have this in July. Vehicle Status Report - Mr. Siltman is still down two
vehicles that are still getting work done on the stress fracture in
the box. Mr. Siltman hopes to have both vehicles up and running by
this fall. Old Business:
Memorial Hospital Critical Care School: Mr. Siltman reported
LCPA sent five paramedics, all of whom passed the course with a
100-percent rating. The 100-percent pass rate is far above the
national pass rate, which has been reported at under 50%.
Ambulance Contract Renewal: Mr. Siltman discussed the changes
that were suggested by Mr. Wright. Mr. Siltman will make the changes
and bring a copy to Mrs. Turner's office.
New Business: Nothing to report.
A motion was made by Mr. Schaffenacker, seconded by Mr. Farmer, to
adjourn the meeting. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 7:28 pm.
Logan County Sheriff's Meeting
Present: Rick Aylesworth; Bob Farmer; Gene Rohlfs; David
Blankenship; Emily Davenport; Scott Schaffenacker
Guests: Sheriff Nichols
Mr. Aylesworth called the meeting to order at 7:29 pm.
A motion was made by Mr. Rohlfs, seconded by Mr. Schaffenacker, to
approve the minutes from May 7, 2015 as printed. Motion passed.
Old Business:
New Vehicles: Mr. Nichols reported he received the 7th vehicle.
Mr. Nichols has three more coming . Mr. Nichols reported he is still
waiting on Mr. Bree to finish dock work at the Safety Complex.
New Business: None
Sheriff's Report: Mr. Nichols reported Mr. Reves will
be back to work Monday.
Mr. Rohlfs asked how the County can enforce weight limits on the
roads. Mr. Nichols reported the County is not prepared to weigh
trucks. Mr. Nichols has asked his deputies to write a ticket to
truck drivers who are disobeying the weight limit signs. Nothing
further to report.
A motion was made by Mr. Blankenship, seconded by Mr. Farmer, to pay
the bills as presented for payment. Motion passed.
A motion was made by Mrs. Davenport, seconded by Mr. Farmer, to
adjourn the meeting . Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 7:43 pm.
