[September 16, 2015]  LINCOLN - Animal Control Committee - Blue Room – Logan County Safety Complex July 8, 2015

Present: Scott Schaffenacker; Kevin Bateman; Andy Anderson; David Hepler; Emily Davenport
Absent: Jan Schumacher
Guests: Julie Parker

Mr. Schaffenacker called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm.

A motion was made by Mr. Anderson, seconded by Mr. Bateman to approve the minutes from June 10, 2015 as printed. Motion passed.

Old Business:

2015-2016 Contracts:
No action taken.

Pea Gravel:  Mr. Bateman will work on pea gravel on Sunday.

Lincoln City Ordinance Enforcement:  No action taken. Take off the agenda for next month.

Adjust Insurance Budget for Full Time Employee: Mrs. Parker will up Group Insurance line item for Budget FY 15-16. No action taken. Take off the agenda for next month.

Deposit Amount Cat Traps: Take off the agenda.

New Business:

Computer Upgrade:
Mrs. Parker will call Todd Farley to see if he has an old computer in the basement. If Mr. Farley does not have an extra computer, see about him ordering a new computer.

2016 Budget: A motion was made by Mr. Bateman, seconded by Mr. Anderson, to increase line item 601-00-51007 by $6,000 for part-time help. Motion passed.

Administrator/Warden’s report: Mrs. Parker has concerns about the roof at Animal Control. Mr. Bateman will add Animal Control roof to the Building and Grounds agenda in August. Mr. Bateman will get bids for the roof at Animal Control. Mr. Parker reported her part-time workers only make minimum wage, Mrs. Parker would like to increase their hourly pay. The committee agreed to up the line item 601-00-51007 by $6,000. Nothing further to report.

Budget: No concerns at this time.

Public Comments: none.

A motion was made by Mr. Hepler, seconded by Mr. Anderson to pay the bills as presented for payment. Motion passed.

A motion was made by Mr. Anderson, seconded by Mr. Hepler, to adjourn the meeting. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 7:15 pm.
