Atlanta Needlework Guild workshop to be held September 26

[September 18, 2015]  ATLANTA - The Atlanta Needlework Guild will hold a workshop in the basement of the Atlanta Community House on Saturday, September 26, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The goal of the workshop is to create 100 each winter hats and scarves to be donated to the Home Sweet Home Ministries homeless shelter in Bloomington.

Crochet or knitters are invited to gather up their needles, hooks, favorite patterns, pack a lunch, and then join in the fun.

The yarn for the projects will be provided, and there will also be patterns for those who don't have one, along with some extra needles and hooks.

The community is invited to join in on the workshop. It will be a great day of fun, visiting and getting to know new friends, and serving a worthy cause.
