The event began with Nicole Cox of the Chamber welcoming the business to town, and thanking them for choosing Lincoln. Alliance President and CEO Andi Hake would later echo the same sentiment.

Lincoln's Mayor Pro Tem, Marty Nietzel also spoke briefly expressing appreciation for yet another new retail business in the city.

Factory Connection District Manager Michelle Alumbaugh spoke about the chain of stores that originated out of Kentucky and were spreading out throughout the Midwest. The chain offers name brand clothing at affordable prices and is very well stocked with women 's clothing in adult sizes from Misses to Plus. The store also offers women's shoes and a good selection of men's clothing.

The Lincoln location is the newest store in the chain. Alumbaugh said there would be more stores added next year, and the company will expand its reach into Indiana as well.

The Lincoln store manager, Shailo Doyle welcomed everyone to the store and encouraged all to enjoy some refreshments while doing some shopping!

Doyle snipped the ribbon with assistance from Cox and Alumbaugh.
