[September 19, 2015]  WASHINGTON – The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) today announced the expansion of the “If You See Something, Say Something™” public awareness campaign partnership with NASCAR, highlighting the Department’s continued efforts to partner with the sports industry to ensure the safety and security of employees, players and fans.

As part of the expansion, DHS unveiled two new public service announcements featuring NASCAR drivers Jeff Gordon and Matt Kenseth that will be visible at NASCAR tracks in Illinois, New Hampshire, Delaware, North Carolina, Kansas, Alabama, Virginia, Texas, Arizona and Florida.

The "If You See Something, Say Something™" campaign - originally implemented by New York City's Metropolitan Transportation Authority and now licensed to DHS for a nationwide campaign - is a simple and effective program to engage the public to identify and report indicators of terrorism and terrorism-related crime to the proper transportation and law enforcement authorities.
