Logan County Coroner report on the death of Jamal W. Horvath

[September 22, 2015]  LINCOLN - The Logan County Coroner, Robert Thomas, has announced that Jamal W. Horvath, age 22, of Rochester, IL, was pronounced dead at 9:10 pm on September 20, 2015 on Interstate 55, near the 118 mile marker, in Logan County.

Mr. Horvath was struck by another vehicle while he was removing a disabled vehicle along the shoulder of the road.

Mr. Horvath’s death is under investigation The crash is under investigation by the Illinois State police and the Logan County Coroner’s Office.
An autopsy was performed and the results are pending.

Funeral arrangements are still pending.
