VA - Jackie Ray Leathers, 74, of Stafford County, passed away
Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015, at Stafford Hospital Center.

Service:
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m.
Friday, Nov. 27, at Quantico National Cemetery.
Obituary
STAFFORD, VA - Jackie Ray Leathers, 74, of Stafford
County, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015, at
Stafford Hospital Center.
Mr. Leathers was a US Army veteran and a retired
Federal Civil Service employee at HQ, Army Materiel
Command. He was an information systems management
specialist in AMC, respectively in Headquarters
Information Systems Command and in the Command
Corporate Information Office. He worked to establish
AMC’s video teleconferencing network providing
face-to-face remote site meetings from key command
locations. He attended Ebenezer United Methodist
Church.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra M. Leathers;
children, Jay Leathers (Kim) of Virginia, and Janise
Leathers Crow (Ed) of Pennsylvania; grandchildren,
Sarah Crow, Cameron Crow, Trey Leathers, Christina
Leathers, and Julie Leathers; sisters, Peggy
Lahmeyer and Beverly Cypher, both of Illinois;
several nieces and nephews; and his mother-in-law,
Hazel Bryant of Illinois. He was preceded in death
by his parents, Roy Leathers and Carrie Leathers
Hahn, and a brother, James “Bob” Leathers.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m.
Friday, Nov. 27, at Quantico National Cemetery.

made to the Stafford SPCA, 140 Andrew Chapel Road,
