[September 28, 2015]  SPRINGFIELD - Dale E. Daniele, 75, of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center following a brief battle with cancer.

Dale E. Daniele, 75, of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Memorial Medical Center following a brief battle with cancer.

Dale was born on August 27, 1940 in Springfield, the son of Earl and Mary Martin Daniele.

Dale was a graduate of Lanphier High School and later earned a bachelor's degree in Graphic Arts from UIS. Dale was formerly employed with John Crowe Advertising, IDOT, and self-employed before his retirement. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and was a loyal friend. Many passions include sailing, movies, music, and traveling.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Bryan.

He is survived by his daughters, Dena (Aaron) Bergman of Emden, Erin (Michael) Hensel of Cave Creek, AZ, and Julie (Tim) Antonacci of Springfield; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and brother, Phillip.

Cremation will be accorded by Lincoln Land Cremation Society.

Memorials to charity of donor's choice.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
