[April 11, 2016]  Every child has the right to a safe childhood, free of violence and neglect. April is Child Abuse Prevention Month.

Regional Superintendent of Schools Mark Jontry says, “We all play a part in making sure kids are safe and families are supported. If you see something, say something. The earlier a child gets help the greater chance they have to heal.”

For more information visit dcfs.illinois.gov. To report child abuse call 1-800-25-ABUSE.
