[April 11, 2016]   LINCOLN - Lincoln native Scott Lynn (Betzelberger) will be in Lincoln on Saturday, April 16 to meet with friends old and new, and sign copies of his newest book; Sports Idols' Idols. Lynn will be set up at Prairie years, 121 North Kickapoo in Lincoln from 10 a.m. to noon.

"As children, we all had someone we considered a hero. For some, it was a family member or coach. However, many had childhood idols we welcomed into our lives after seeing them on television, hearing about them on the radio or reading about them in magazines and newspapers," said Lynn. "They were the sports stars of the day, young men and women whose athletic achievements resulted in us dreaming of life as a professional athlete. Have you ever considered that those star athletes also grew up trying to follow in the footsteps of their heroes? As we go through life, heroes often change. However, one thing remains constant for each of us—the person we considered our very first childhood idol."
