[April 21, 2016]  LINCOLN - The Lincoln College Music Department presents its spring choir concert, Motown: An Evening of Classic Soul and Pop from the 1960’s Friday, April 22 and Saturday, April 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the Johnston Center for Performing Arts on the Lincoln College campus.

Relax and be taken back in time with your favorite songs from Motown and the rock & roll era featuring artists like the Jackson 5, Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, and the Supremes.

The spring concert showcases performances by the Lincoln College Chorale, the Chamber Choir, soloists, and a live band. Soloists include Lincoln College students: Caleb Coppinger, Robert Davis, Rondale Gray, Josiah Keller (guitar), Sara Klemm, Jaedyn Krebs-Carr, Justice Perry, Danielle Rokosh, and Madelyn Thomas.

On Saturday evening, a special ceremony will take place to honor the program’s graduates.

Motown is directed by Laurie Lewis, Assistant Professor of Music at Lincoln College.
