Service: Private family graveside services will be held.

Obituary

Dianah Lynn (Galvin) Birdwell, 60, of Sullivan, passed away July 31, 2016, at her residence.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Private family graveside services will be held. Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home in Lincoln has been entrusted with her care.

Dianah was born November 21, 1955, in Pana, the daughter of Carl Galvin and Patricia McCarty. She married Phillip Dean "Herb" Birdwell on December 18, 1976, in Latham, he survives.

She enjoyed garage sales, hunting for a bargain, arrowhead hunting, going for walks and being in nature, 4-wheeler riding, and was an avid pool player. She loved spending time with her friends and family.

 

Surviving are her husband Phillip Dean "Herb" Birdwell of Sullivan, daughter Brandy (Tim) White of Athens, grandchildren: Dev'n Gentry, Kyle Birdwell, Kole Miller, Blayne Birdwell, Haleigh White, and Kamdyn Birdwell; 2 great grandchildren; siblings: Carl Galvin, David (Sandy) Galvin, Barbara (Jerry) LaDue, Debra (Wayne) Woolen, Michael (Linda) Galvin, Terry (Jenny) Galvin, Vicky (Dennis) Fabor, and Roger Cox. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father, stepfather George Cox, son Billy Dean Birdwell, and sister Patty Sue Galvin.

Memorial donations may be made to St. John's Hospice.
