[August 11, 2016]  LINCOLN - Frances Irene Watson, 93, of Lincoln passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 8:55 a.m. at St. Clara’s Manor, Lincoln.

Visitation:   9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday August 6, 2016 at Holy Family Church, Lincoln

Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church

Funeral home: Fricke-Calvert-Schrader, Lincoln   

Obituary

Frances Irene Watson, 93, of Lincoln passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 8:55 a.m. at St. Clara’s Manor, Lincoln.

Frances was born February 19, 1923 in Lincoln, the daughter of Hugo John and Katherine Higgins Faul. She married Thomas R. Watson June 18, 1949 in Lincoln. He preceded her in death March 3, 1993.

Frances is survived by one son: Thomas John (Jennifer) Watson of Plainfield; one daughter: Cathy (Steven) Cosby of Lincoln; six grandsons: James (Kristy) and John Cosby, Tommy, Michael, Ryan and Brady Watson and two great-grandsons Henry and Dean Cosby. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter Cindy Watson and one sister Mary Ryals.

Frances had worked at Armours in Lincoln and retired from the customer service department at Lehn and Fink. She was a member of Holy Family Church, the Emblem Club, and Daughters of Isabella.

Services for Frances will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday August 6, 2016 at Holy Family Church, Lincoln with Father Geoffrey Horton officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery Lincoln. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to services at the church.

Memorials may be given in Frances’ name to Elk’s Crippled Children or Carroll Catholic School.

Services are entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
