							Cathy
Sanders (left) presents a check to Kara Davis at the
Logan County Department of Public Health. The check
represents funds raised by fundraisers hosted by St.
John United Church of Christ. The money will
purchase Narcan kits to be distributed to local
first responders. This is not the first check
presentation by St. Johns. Kits that have been
purchased already have been distributed to local law
enforcement officers, and a training session for the
administration of the drug was recently hosted by
the Health Department. Narcan is effective in
reversing the consequences of Heroin overdose and is
							a proven life-saving antidote.
