“Adventure Night” coming to Third Fridays Downtown Lincoln

[August 18, 2016]   LINCOLN - The city of Lincoln continues the “3rd Fridays Downtown” summer series with “Adventure Night”, which will take place on Friday, August 19 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm.

This month’s event will offer activities such as an inflatable rock climbing wall, obstacle course, and laser tag. Other activities include the return of giant versions of popular games such as Jenga, Connect Four, and Bozo Balls, to name a few. Spirited Republic and Alley-Bi Saloon will be sponsoring a 3-hour bags tournament. The cost is $10 per team with prizes awarded to the top teams.

This month’s “Touch-A-Truck” activity will include a number of Jeeps and Off-Road vehicles provided by Chris Beard.

Sorrento’s and Domino’s will once again provide pizza by the slice for $1, and Mama’s Arcade will be serving cheeseburgers for $2. Local organizations will be supplying drinks for purchase throughout the event. Alley-Bi Saloon will be serving cheeseburgers as well. For dessert Schwann’s will serve ice cream treats for $1.

For music this month DJ Kevin Curry will be spinning your favorite tunes as you enjoy the fun activities.

Visitors are encouraged to stroll through the growing vendor market and explore the downtown area as many businesses will have special extended hours to accommodate late night shopping.
