Obituary
Charles M. (Charlie) DeLury, 91 of Indianapolis, IN
died Monday, August 15, 2016, at St. Francis Hospice
in Indianapolis.
Charlie was born January 28th, 1925 to the late John
Henry and Anna Witt DeLury.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy, and
proudly served his country during World War II.
After his discharge from the Navy, he worked as a
dispatcher for the railroad.
A private graveside service with Military Rites was
held on August 18th, 2016 at Orchard Hill Cemetery
in Wanamaker, IN.
Surviving are his children, Steven DeLury of
Indianapolis, In, step-daughter Terri (Rod) Burger
of Lincoln, four grandchildren, and seven
great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Jean M. DeLury
and son Darrell DeLury.
