Logan
County offers many choices for shoppers to find gifts for their
loved one's this holiday season. You are urged to shop local and
support our many fine merchants who so joyously give back to the
places we call home. Featured below is just the tip of the iceberg,
rather snowflake here in central Illinois, that our local retailers
have to offer.

ATLANTA
Starting in Atlanta you can pop into Central Illinois Ag and find
toys for the little boys and the big boys and even plenty of choices
for the girls as well. From the scaled model tractors to the drones
and a full line of Red clothing, your selection is great.
And there are no shortages of tools for that handy person to choose
from at Johnson Lumber.
Checking in at North Greens Golf courses Pro Shop will get the
golfer in your life taken care of too. Call Randy at 217-369-3173
and he’ll get you the perfect golf accessory.
And of course we can’t forget our four legged friends either. Stop
at Timbercrest Veterinary to see their wide selection of cat and dog
friendly treats, food and accessories.
LINCOLN
Do you have a senior person on your list? Memorial Home Health
Services has lots of offerings to keep your loved one safe and
comfortable in their home.
Just a short distance near the four-corners is Jake's Furniture
offering sofas, beds, entertainment centers and more chairs than an
elf could count for your picking.
Looking across the street from Jake's is 4-Corners Lube. Need a gift
certificate to get an oil change or there’s a full line of mowers,
snow blowers and more gadgets for that outdoor person.
Start your new year off right with a workout at Reps Gym on Hickox
Drive. Beyond a full line of cardio and strength building equipment,
Reps also stocks nutritional supplements that sharpen your mental
focus while supplying the body with long lasting energy.
If that workout left you a little sore perhaps a soak in a hot tub
from P & W Pool and Spa will bring you some relief.
And for your car enthusiast, there are lots of accessories available
at Graue’s to help make that someone special's wheels truly their
own.
Do you have lots of family coming and going over the holidays?
McEntire’s is the place to go to update your appliances.

Speaking of families have you thought about matching shirts or
sweatshirts for that group photo? Dave Collins at Bright Idea can
have you covered in a flash.
For the folks that have everything, a stop at Beans & Such will
yield tons of gift giving choices. Especially nice this year is a
line called “Whimsies” by Lori Mitchell.
And for the antique or vintage collector, a sweep through Cherished
Memories Antique Mall will provide a wide array of selections from
its many vendors.
And right down the street from them is Deep Roots Bakery and Café.
They offer delicious food and a wide assortment homemade baked
goods.
Stop in Copper Penny and check out their gently used but ready to be
loved again collections, this place has something for everyone.
MOUNT PULASKI
When you are in the Mount Pulaski area be sure to stop in Calm Creek
Café for a wonderful flavored coffee and a bite of dessert. They
also offer craft classes and an array of repurposed vintage pieces.
If you are a couple that just doesn’t know what to get one another
or prefer to make a home improvement think about MB heating and
cooling. Maybe one of their standby generators would be a great
addition.
And then there is Johnson’s True Value that offers everything from
nuts to bolts along with a garden center. ELKHART
It is just a short drive to historical downtown Elkhart. A stop in
Richardson’s Repair can get your mower serviced or repaired. Check
out their snow blowers while you are there too.
Right next door is Horsefeathers and the Wild Hare Café. Peruse
their eclectic collections and be sure to check out their delicious
menu. They are also a great resource for Route 66 items.
Take time this holiday season and try to shop Logan County first. As
you can see we have so many businesses that will more than cover
that shopping list.
