Senator Brady votes for current and future workers in Illinois

[December 02, 2016]  SPRINGFIELD - In a late evening vote, after the house passed SB2814, the Senate concurred with the house and passed the legislation.

“Like many other bills that come before the Senate, not all have every component that everyone agrees upon; however, this bill will secure jobs in Clinton and statewide through alternate energy sources,” stated Senator Bill Brady(R). “The cost of not addressing this issue would have meant the loss of about 12 percent of our ability to generate energy, resulting in even higher rates for consumers.”
