Mount Pulaski falls to Decatur LSA in boys basketball action

Mount Pulaski lost at Decatur Lutheran Tuesday night by a final score of 67-42.

The Hilltoppers dug a hole early, trailing 16-7 at the end of the first quarter.

The Lions stretched the lead to 35-17 at halftime and there was no looking back.

By the end of the third quarter Decatur LSA had a 25 point lead and they were able to win easily by that margin over the Hilltoppers.

Kretzinger led the way with 12 points for the Hilltoppers. Seth Huff, who started the season with an injury, scored his first points of the season. The junior scored six points for the Hilltoppers.

LSA placed three players in double figures, Reynolds (17), Schaal (16) and Karsten (13).

Mount Pulaski will play at Edinburg Friday night with the JV scheduled for 6 p.m. and the Varsity set for a 7:30 p.m. start.
