[December 16, 2016]    The Lincoln College Women's Basketball team scored a victory at home on Thursday evening by defeating the visiting Robert Morris University (Peoria) Eagles.

The first quarter was very closely contested with each team trading leads throughout and ended with RMU up by one at 13-12.

Lincoln would step up their defense from that point on which led to open shots in transition to help build a lead in the second quarter. At the half, Lincoln led 32-23.

The second half saw the Lady Lynx extend their lead over the Eagles to as many as 19 points and go on to take the win by a final score of 68-53.
