Eighth grade Crusaders win Decatur Regional

[February 05, 2016]    The 8th grade Crusaders of Carroll Catholic/New Holland-Middletown/Zion Lutheran Schools traveled to Decatur Lady of Lourdes Thursday evening to face the host school of the Decatur Regional.

The Crusaders came away victorious by a score of 37-30, winning the regional title.

The balanced scoring attack was led by Dylan Singleton with 11 points, TJ Merriman with 8, Luke Hinch, Jayden Graham and Alex Janssen all with 6 apiece.

The Crusaders will now face a familiar foe in West Lincoln-Broadwell for the sectional championship.

That game will take place at Decatur Lady of Lourdes, Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
